Happy Tuesday everyone!
I haven't written a post in a while and I figured it was time to do an overhaul of some of the recent purchases I've made while shopping.
First, let me show some super cute shoes I've snatched up!
Call it Spring wedges
JCPenney $10
Color- grayish taupe
Review: I love these shoes! They are a somewhat higher wedge, but will be great for skinny jeans or dress.
They were originally marked down to $10, but with my $10 JCP reward I got them for free. Nothing better than a free pair of cute shoes!
Rampage Brown Boots Rampage Gray Quirky Boot Dexter Tan Wedge
Bon-Ton $10 Bon-Ton $10 Payless $19.99
Both pair of boots have wedge heels and are extremely comfortable. The tan wedges are also very comfortable and I can't wait for warmer weather to wear them with a cute pair of skinny jeans!
While at the Bon-Ton I also found this really cute jewerly!
The Bon-Ton is having a winter clearance sale where a great deal of things are 80% off and that's why I got the two pair of boots so cheap! Anyone that's looking for cute boots, I'd advise you to check out your local Bon-Ton!
I also did a little online shopping and picked up some NYX Matte lipstick pictured below:
NYX Matte lipsticks in Tea Rose, Sierra, and Strawberry Daiquiri
ULTA $5.99
Review: The lipsticks go on very smooth and have great pigmented color. Out of these three, Tea Rose is my favorite, which goes on like a nice neutral pink. Sierra and Strawberry Daiquiri are quite similar with orange tints, but I also enjoy them. I plan on getting other colors soon to try, share, and then review.
I hope everyone has a great day! I'm sure more shopping overhauls and reviews of makeup products are to come soon!

Mattes, shimmers, neutrals, Oh My!
Happy Wednesday to all!
So I have to share with everyone that I finally gave in and got the Urban Decay Naked Palette and I love it! I decided to go with just the Naked palette because I love neutrals and I'm so glad that I finally purchased it.
Here is a picture of the colors within the palette:
The shadows Smog (#7-shimmer), Toasted (#9-shimmer), Hustle (#10-matte), and Creep (#11-shimmer black) are very pretty shadows that I will definitely try for a darker eye for a night out.
After a little grocery shopping at Wal-Mart, I glanced through the beauty aisles and also picked up a few Wet n Wild products. I found that the Wet n Wild eyeshadows are so pigmented and smooth for a drugstore palette and if I hadn't just purchased the Naked palette I would have definitely purchased one! Instead I thought I would try one of their blush products and a single eyeshadow (on a side note, it is very likely I will go back for the Wet n Wild palette sooner than later).
Wet n Wild Pearlescent Pink Blush
not quite $3.00
*goes on very pink, so less is definitely more
Wet n Wild Coloricon single eyeshadow in Nutty
not quite $2.00
*haven't tried it yet, but the swatch on my arm looked like a pretty satin brown taupe with nice shimmer and pigment
So those are my favorite new makeup products that I'm very excited to try out and experiment with!
Stay tuned, I have an order of NYX lipsticks and mascara that should be delivered to my house tomorrow!
Leave comments if you please :)
Have a good day everyone!
Peace and love,
Kayla <3

Bring some bling into your life!
Happy Monday everyone!
Although I didn't do a whole lot of shopping this past weekend, I did get a few jewelry pieces to add to my collection.
American Eagle is one of my favorite places to frequent for the essential cardigans, jeans, jeggings, and so much more, but I'm really starting to love some of the jewelry! So when I went in Saturday I purchased some super cute earrings! I also finally received jewelry that I purchased online from Charlotte Russe, which I also let you guys see!
As of late, I'm really loving big, fancy jewelry and I hope this is some inspiration for you guys to experiment and find the right accessories for yourself!
Feel free to leave comments!
Check back soon to check out my review of some new makeup, a great new pair of shoes, and some great ways to bring organization into your beautiful life!
AE Disc Feather Earrings $15.50 Love these earrings! They looked cute for my Saturday night party and are now one of my favorite accessories! |

Daily Beauty Essentials
I might as well start this blog off right with another post! Today, I've decided to blog about some of the essential beauty products I use everyday (some old and some new).
I am all about trying different brands of products, as you will below with the mixture of products that I use daily and absolutely love! Today's post will focus a new product I just purchased and some of the essential eye shadows I use daily.
After applying my Sephora foundation, these are usually the products that I will use:
NYX HD Photogenic Concealer
ULTA $5
Review:
I love this concealer! Some of you may be wondering why the concealer is green and that's because a green concealer is great for concealing red blemishes/spots. My recommendation is to only use a tiny amount on spots because it does apply quite bright, but after applying a skin tone concealer and powder, the green is hidden perfectly.
The concealer can be purchased through this link:

NYX Nude on Nude Palette
Purchased from nyxcosmetics.com $12
Review:
I use this palette everyday! The colors are great neutrals and go with almost any outfit you're trying to match with! The shades are all nicely pigmented, with lighter pinks and golds for lids and darker browns and black for creases. The entire palette is a must-have!
So these are some of the eye shadow palettes that I use daily, but there are many more I would love to share and discuss, so keep checking in! In the future, I also want to share my daily make up remover routine, lipsticks, purses, etc. so stay tuned!
Peace and love!

Lorac "Ooh La Lace" Sephora $36 Ooh La Lace is another great neutral palette with even more pigmented and shimmery shades than the NYX palette. |

First, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Kayla and I'm 23 years old. I have a BS in Business Management, and currently help to manage two businesses that my boyfriend owns. I love the business world and everything it entails!
Although I have an incredible love of business, I enjoy shopping even more! Clothes, makeup, jewelry, and purses are just some of my must-haves! I love sharing with everyone what my last shopping trip consisted of, so I thought I could start a blog to share my purchases, give some reviews, and even suggest some recommendations.
I hope you enjoy and can find some inspiration for yourself!
Yesterday I splurged in some retail therapy, so here's an overhaul of some things I got!
Feather earrings from JCPenney
On sale for $6.00
When worn, the earrings hit a little below the neck.
Look super cute with a hair updo!
Walmart around $5
Review:
The "Nearly There" lipstick is a very pretty shade that goes on fairly smooth. It can be considered a neutral lipstick with some shimmer. The lipstick does have a slight unpleasant smell/taste, but overall I like it and will use it. I've found this lipstick to be a dupe for Mac's Viva Glam V.
Sephora Foundation Powder in Medium
Purchased from Sephora $20
Review:
I absolutely love this powder! It has great coverage, while being lightweight at the same time. Application is very smooth and goes on great with a large powder brush. I use my NYX Make-up Artist Brush that is quite large with soft bristles.
Along with these few items, I got an "all over shadow" small brush from Sephora that is perfect for eyeshadows in a large palette or individual palette.
I also ordered some jewelry from JCPenney and Charlotte Russe online and I'm expecting them soon, so expect another post soon!
Have a great day everyone!
Shop often,
Kayla
