September Favorites!!

Hi everyone! Hope all is well!

It's that time again... time to share my favorites of the month! I know everyone always says it, but I can't believe September is over already! I'm not complaining, as September has always been my least favorite month, but I feel like it went super quick this year!

I have some beauty favorites to share, along with some basic clothing essentials for fall.

First, I'll start with some beauty favorites for the month:

Beauty Favorites

I absolutely love Benefit's Sun Beam. At first I wasn't sure about the product, but I love the sun bronze look it gives to my cheeks and complexion. I've been using it regularly!

I'm also loving Benefit's They're Real Mascara and their How to Look Good at Everything Kit. The mascara has been hyped up for the longest time and after giving it to purchasing the small size I can say that it really is amazing! It makes my lashes so long and is a great combination with my Loreal Voluminous Mascara.

I'm also loving my Tarte Lip Surgence Lip Tint in the color Hope. Although it's rather expensive, I love the color payoff from this lip tint and the matte color is great for my lip color! I also like pairing it with my Revlon Pearl Plum lip gloss.

Next, here are some of my current favorites from my fall wardrobe:

September Favorites Wardrobe

I'm currently loving all things printed! Leopard, polka dots, stripes, I'm in love! My current favorites are my black and white polka dot shirt from the Limited, an orange blazer from Forever 21, a leopard print cardigan from Old Navy, a polka dot sweater from Old Navy (an exact dupe of the J Crew polka dot sweater), black leggings, and my UGG boots! It's always exciting when I get to pull out my fall clothing and boots and I can't wait to get a new pair of UGG boots for Christmas! I'm thinking either the Bailey Button Triplet or the Bailey Bow Tall. Suggestions?

I hope everyone is having a great start of Fall!

Leave me some comments!!

Online Shopping... An Addiction??

Online Shopping

Online shopping is one of biggest obsessions and addictions! I can't help but check out what's on sale and all of the new fall collections. Today I stumbled upon J Crew having an extra 30% off all sale items. I could no longer pass up the ivory Tortoise Sweater or the neon pink Tippi Sweater. I've been eyeing up both for a while now, so this time they will be coming to my mailbox!

I also found a few things on sale at the Sephora website, like Kat Von D's Mini True Romance Palette in Little Sinner. I absolutely love the colors in this palette and think they will be great for fall! I'm especially excited for the color Brave Awakening (the pearlized maroon)! I also ordered a few things that I will be giving out as Christmas gifts (shhh!).

Besides a few brushes and 2 Tokidoki roller ball perfumes, I also purchased two of the Sephora by OPI nail polishes from the Betsey Johnson collection. The picture above shows XOX Betsey, an opaque neutral pink and I also got Pushing Your Luck, a bright red.

I can't wait to get all of my orders from today and to also start wearing so much of the fall pieces I have been getting for my fall wardrobe!

Has anyone else been a little crazy in updating their fall wardrobe? Find any good deals?

Let me know!!

Shopping Haul + Fall Wishlist

Shopping Haul

Happy Monday everyone!! Today I've created a little collage of some of my recent shopping purchases. With fall quickly  approaching, I've felt the desperate need to add to my fall wardrobe (with some beauty products included)! I absolutely ADORE fall and cannot wait to begin wearing so many of the new things that I've purchased for the season!

The first picture on the top left shows an Instagram picture of Tarte products, a green blazer from JCPenney (blazers are my necessity in fall!) and adorable leopard ballet flats from Target.

The second picture is a collective haul of clothing I purchased from The Loft and Macy's. My current obsession is polka dots and stripes, so why not incorporate them into my fall style?! The top two shirts are from The Loft and with their 30% off everything in stores this past Saturday, I got them for $27 total! Can you say AMAZING?!

The bottom left photo are some items from American Eagle that I purchased about a week ago, when they were having a 40% off everything in the store. Two pairs of jeans, one nautical sweater, leopard flats, and a mint belt for around $100, can you say one happy girl?!

The last picture is an OOTD from last week. The striped blouse is from The Limited and with a promotional code, I got the blouse for around $25. It is a timeless classic and I can mix and match it with so many of my fall staples!

I know I've already posted some things I want for fall, but after doing some shopping this weekend, I've added to that list, so that explains the collage below. Enjoy!!

August Favorites

August Favorites

August Favorites by kaylamarie5306 featuring essie nail polish

These are some of my favorite purchases from August! I love the miniature Vaseline lip treatment! It's so moisturizing and I love the small size! The Loreal Voluminous Original Mascara is absolutely amazing! It's the best mascara I've used for a long time and gives my lashes the perfect long length and color!
My favorite nail polish for the month has been Essie's Figi. It's a beautiful light pink that is the perfect neutral to go with so many outfits!
I purchased the Crown brush set from Hautelook and although I haven't received them yet, I know that I'll love them!
I purchased theBalm's Time Balm concealer in July with my Birchbox points, but didn't get to using it until August and I must say the formula is great! It has a really nice coverage, isn't too heavy, and goes on very smooth.
Urban Decay was having a huge sale on some of their makeup palettes and I must say I'm so glad I got the Feminine Palette! It has a nice range of colors (both neutral and bright), came with a small primer potion, and the black eyeliner included is great (I think I may get the full size version)!
Last, there's my Michael Kors watch. It is the Michael Kors Parker Glitz watch and I'm absolutely obsessed with this watch! I love everything about it and wear it every single day!
Thanks for reading and leave me comments if you like! Also follow me and I'll be sure to follow you back!

My Fall Must-Haves!

Time to catch up!

Hi everyone!

My lack of posts this summer cannot be forgiven, but can be simply blamed on the fact that helping to manage and run my boyfriend's business is very time consuming! Although I've been completely engrossed in the business for the past few months, that does not mean I haven't been shopping and updating my wardrobe and beauty supplies.
I don't want to make this post incredibly long, but I do want to share a few of my recent purchases.

First there is my collective haul of clothing and one purse from the Tanger Outlets at Rehobeth Beach, DE that I purchased about two weeks ago. I found incredible deals at Old Navy and New York and Company, so I went a little crazy! I got the perfect neutral tops, a leopard cardigan, and the perfect green polka dot sweater for fall! Can you say, "perfect fall clothing"!

My next worthwhile purchase are my leopard Sperry boat shoes! Can you say absolute love?! I was so excited to find these and purchased them without a second thought! Anyone interested in getting a pair of boat shoes absolutely needs to invest in a pair of Sperry's!

Fish bowl drink for shark week? I think so!

The last thing I'll post for now are three eyeshadow palettes I purchased last week. The top two palettes are from Urban Decay and I had to get them since UD was having such a good sale! The palettes have a great variety of colors and all are very pigmented. My only complaint is with the colors Midnight Cowboy and Chopper for having too much of a glitter consistency, which results in a great deal of fallout.

I hope everyone has had a great summer and is ready for fall!!

xoxo,

Kayla

Spring is in the Air!

Hello Everyone!

It's been too long since I've done a good haul, so today's post will be a huge collection of my recent purchases!

First, I'll start with clothing that I purchased this past Friday on a great shopping trip!

From left to right:

     Old Navy chambray shirt   $29.94

       The Limited teal blouse      $17.00

      Gap printed cardigan         $24.99

Two sets of earrings from TJMaxx

I wore the teal blouse from The Limited on St. Patrick's day and I absolutely love it! It may not be easy to find because I got in on sale, but I'm sure similar shirts should be available.

The printed cardigan from the Gap runs a little large, so I wish I would have tried it on and sized down. Once I get something home though, it's very hard for me to return it! I plan on wearing it with a cute cami underneath with leggings.

The blue chambray shirt from Old Navy is a typical button down shirt. I wore it half tucked in and it looked really cute! I highly recommend everyone having at least one chambray shirt in their closet!

I apologize for the quality of this picture, my lighting was awful!

Gap polka dot blouse    $24.94

New York and Company yellow blouse

IZOD pink military style button down  $40

NY and Company cream blouse

Jewelry: NY and Company  Buy one get one 75% off!

Clutch: TJ Maxx  $19.99

I cannot recall the prices of the yellow blouse or the cream blouse from NY and Company, but I do know it was buy one, get one half off. For St Patrick's day they were also having a $50 off $100 promotion, so I got three blouses (one not pictured), 2 necklaces, 1 pair of earrings, and 1 bracelet for a little over $50! I was more than excited! I suppose these pictures also prove my new obsession with cute button down blouses!

Besides my clothing purchases, I've also purchased some new beauty products.

I've wanted to try some ELF products and finally decided to try a few of
their products! I purchased all three items from Wal-Mart.

ELF Bronzing Brush                                  $1

ELF Blush in Candid Coral                      $3

ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzer     $3

First, the bronzing brush is definitely not my favorite. The bristles are not
very soft and it seems poorly made. I guess I can't complain because it only cost a $1. I think I'll keep using my Sephora brush instead.

On the other hand, I love the ELF coral blush! It's such a nice color and gives me a great hint of pink for this spring!

With some work, the contouring blush and bronzer is also a good product. The bronzer goes on a little dark, but with a great deal of blending it can give a nice contour.

My last purchase that I'll share today was three Essie nail polishes.

Essie has such a great product in their polishes and I love each color! The first color is "Sand Tropez" which goes on as a great neutral and I love it! The second color is "Cute as a Button" and will be a great bright pink for spring/summer. The last Essie color is "Not Just a Pretty Face" and even though I'm not a huge fan of light pinks, I think this will also be a great neutral.

What purchases did you guys make this weekend? With the beautiful weather we've been experiencing it's a great time to start adding to the spring/summer wardrobe!

Have a good day everyone!

Feel free to leave comments:)
