Another great shopping day!

Hello everyone! I made a trip to a Sally Beauty Store last night and did some other shopping a few days ago, so I'd like to share what I purchased and give a few reviews!

After this post I will also post an outfit that I purchased this week and then recreated on polyvore.com to perhaps give everyone a little inspiration.

First, here are some of the things I recently bought:

Femme Couture Lipsticks

Sally Beauty  $7.99

Honey Nude (matte, but a little shimmery) and Kiss Me Coral (matte)

Review: The lipsticks go on very smooth and do not have a bad taste. They are some what pigmented, but not as much as my NYX lipsticks. They have a decent wear time, but have to be reapplied every hour or two.

Side note: Sally's is having a March sale, so the Femme Couture lipstick or glosses were buy one get one free. The store is having many other sales, so I suggest checking it out!

China Glaze Polish in "Dress Me Up"
         (from Capital Colors Collection)

                      Sally Beauty  $5.99

Review: The polish is a very pretty neutral! I love the deep rose/brownish color and it looks great with any outfit! Definitely a must-have for your collection of neutral polishes!

Side note: I didn't realize China Glaze created a collection entirely devoted to the Hunger Games trilogy, but after purchasing the polish and doing a little research, I found out and it makes me love the polish even more, as I am a huge fan of the Hunger Games books!

                                                                     CVS Overhaul
Wet N Wild single shadow-Sugar  $1.99    Nivea Kiss of Moisture lip balm  $2.99
Maybelline Fit Foundation in 235  $7.78

Review: The Wet N Wild single shadow is very pigmented and works great as a highlighter color for the eyes. Nivea's Kiss of Moisture lip balm is just that, a kiss of moisture! It makes my lips so smooth and is great to use before applying lipstick. Last, I thought I would try Maybelline's Fit Foundation, as I needed a lighter color since I've stopped tanning for the winter. The 235 foundation blends in with my skin great, it's so smooth, and keeps my skin moisturized, but not oily (highly recommend trying it!).

I hope everyone has a great weekend and don't forget, shopping is a great stress reliever! :)

<3 Kayla
